Arc Counselling & Family Resources

We offer short-term or longer term counselling in the community and in schools, regardless of personal faith or circumstances.  Our aim is to help anyone going through difficulties or a crisis in their lives and to help empower themselves to a brighter future.

We have competitive rates and also a sliding-scale fee for those on low income or benefits.

Our Counsellors

Our counsellors are qualified and trained to Advanced Diploma or Degree Levels and are members of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists) or ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors), and adhere to the codes of ethics and practice set by these professional bodies. All counsellors are CRB checked. 

We also have a small team of mature student placement counsellors in their final year of training who work with us on placement.   Again all are student members of the BACP or ACC and are also CRB checked.

Our Supervisors

Supervision is a legal requirement for all counsellors to ensure safe practice and all our counsellors receive regular supervision with our trained Supervisors. 

Our Supervisors are also happy to offer supervision to staff in Organisations, Companies, Schools or other Agencies, and operate on an hourly fee.
